The image below is a rough sketch of what the outdoor environment will look like. I took inspiration from Honkai Impact and added a fountain in the middle and a roundabout area with stores surrounding the place. There's a fallen building that blocks one of the roads and cars are on the other roads. There are also street lights that are there to light the area up. 

Idea of environment

Backstory: The city has been invaded and humans have managed to escape from the invasion before humanity gets wiped out. Monsters scatter around the empty city in search of any humans. Couple of months later, humans find a way to fight back and go back to the empty ruined city and take back their land.

Setting: The setting is the rough sketch above. The atmosphere of this environment will be similar to Nier's ruined city environment.

Style: This environment will have a realistic look to it.

This is a sketch of what the assets will roughly look like. There will also be cars that are blocking the roads as well.
